Join us for a relaxed and creative bonsai workshop at Idyll Hounds Brewing Co. with one of our NEW species, the Bahama Berry! We HIGHLY recommend that you take the beginner bonsai class with the dwarf jade OR be an experienced gardener/bonsai owner before taking this class. This hands-on experience combines the peaceful art of bonsai with the welcoming atmosphere of a local brewery, where you can craft your own bonsai tree while enjoying refreshing craft beers.
In this immersive two-hour workshop, you’ll learn the art and philosophy behind bonsai—potting, pruning, shaping, and wiring—guided step-by-step by seasoned instructor John Hunter. No experience needed. Just show up ready to slow down, get your hands dirty (or gloves are provided if you’d rather not), and enjoy the shared experience of creating something beautiful alongside others.
Each guest leaves with their own bonsai tree, styled by hand during the workshop, plus everything needed…
