Join us for a relaxed and creative bonsai workshop at Idyll Hounds Brewing Co in Santa Rosa Beach. This hands-on experience combines the peaceful art of bonsai with the welcoming atmosphere of a local brewery, where you can craft your own bonsai tree while enjoying refreshing craft beers.
In this immersive two-hour workshop, you’ll learn the art and philosophy behind bonsai—potting, pruning, shaping, and wiring—guided step-by-step by seasoned instructor John Hunter. No experience needed. Just show up ready to slow down, get your hands dirty (or gloves are provided if you’d rather not), and enjoy the shared experience of creating something beautiful alongside others.
Each guest leaves with their own bonsai tree, styled by hand during the workshop, plus everything needed to care for it long after the experience ends. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, filled with conversation, smiles, and laughter—making it just as much about community and connection…
