Join us for a hands-on evening of creativity, craftsmanship, and calm as Zen Den Bonsai Workshops brings our signature boutique bonsai experience to the welcoming space of Props Brewery & Taproom in Fort Walton Beach.
In this immersive two-hour workshop, you’ll learn the art and philosophy behind bonsai—potting, pruning, shaping, and wiring—guided step-by-step by seasoned instructor John Hunter. No experience needed. Just show up ready to slow down, get your hands dirty (or gloves are provided if you’d rather not), and enjoy the shared experience of creating something beautiful alongside others.
Each guest leaves with their own bonsai tree, styled by hand during the workshop, plus everything needed to care for it long after the experience ends. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, filled with conversation, smiles, and laughter—making it just as much about community and connection as it is about the art itself.
