Join us for a hands-on evening of creativity, craftsmanship, and calm as Zen Den Bonsai Workshops brings our signature boutique bonsai experience with one of our NEW species, the Serissa Japonica (Snowrose/Tree of a Thousand Stars) to the welcoming space of Wood Foot Beer Co! We HIGHLY recommend that you take the beginner bonsai class with the dwarf jade OR be an experienced gardener/bonsai owner before taking this class.
In this immersive two-hour workshop, you’ll learn the art and philosophy behind bonsai—potting, pruning, shaping, and wiring—guided step-by-step by seasoned instructor John Hunter. No experience needed. Just show up ready to slow down, get your hands dirty (or gloves are provided if you’d rather not), and enjoy the shared experience of creating something beautiful alongside others.
Each guest leaves with their own bonsai tree, styled by hand during the workshop, plus everything needed to care for it long after the experience ends.…
